I have tried it, I can do it, but I just chose not to live that way. I am lucky to have found the woman that I asked God for in every way... but trust me, she has to put up with a lot... so patience was one of the things God gave her. I do not feel like I have no freedom, the compromises I make for being in a committed relationship will never be more than the benefits of having someone close to me. All of those things that I wanted to do when I was single, I can still do and now I have someone along for the ride... not trying to rub it in, just trying to get behind the you need someone in your life. You will find the right person for you... exactly what you ask for... just make sure that you are careful when you are asking. Being single does not work for me.
