			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is my second Lessig post via <a href="http://www.powazek.com">Derek</a>. And I&#8217;m jealous that he reads Lessig&#8217;s stuff before I do.  Who is Lessig? You can find out more about him <a href="http://www.lessig.org/blog/">here</a>.  And if you like what you hear or see, and you live in California, you can draft him to <a href="http://draftlessig.org/">run for Congress</a>.</p>
<p>Why should you like him?  Because while we are playing video games and doing our best to get laid, he is questioning the value our laws and our leaders are providing us.  His brainchild, CreativeCommons, provide a recourse for the user generated content he talks about in the video to be protected but also licensed for others to use and it still protects that content from legally able to be used commercially without permission.</p>
<p>As is written, &#8220;We work to offer creators a best-of-both-worlds way to protect their works while encouraging certain uses of them — to declare “some rights reserved.”</p>
<p>So if you have twenty minutes, please enjoy.</p>
